- Before you wash your hair, brush your hair in all possible directions – it will dispart dirt and surpluses of hair styling products;
- Choose a shampoo, which is appropriate to your hair type;
- Do not pour a shampoo directly on the hair – at first pour it in your palm and then evenly apply it on your hair;
- Wash your hair carefully, not irritating the scalp, but gently massaging it with finger tips; wash your hair with warm water;
- Thoroughly rinse your hair with cool water several times;
- After washing your hair with shampoo, use special balsams or conditioners, which improves hair structure and facilitates hair combing;
- Gently squeeze your hair in order to squeeze an excess water – if you will squeeze your hair roughly like wet socks, your will damage your hair;
- Gently dry up your hair with towel and then wrap them in it – do not dishevel your hair with towel because it damages the structure of hair;
- Do not comb and blow-dry your hair immediately after washing – let them to dry up in the towel for 15 – 20 minutes and then comb and blow-dry them;
- Avoid hair drying with hot air stream; hold hairdryer at least 20 cm away and move it during blow-drying in order to not concentrate the hot air in one place; do not dry your hair completely dry because the hair needs moisture;
- Do not tie your hair with a rubber band – if you leave your hair like that for long time, they die;
- If the weather is not cold, do not wear a hat – hat makes hair sweat and negatively affects hair;
- If you want to dye your hair with permanent hair dye, your hair have to be dry and greasy, but they should not be too greasy;
- It is not recommended to dye your hair more often than once a month – ideally every six weeks;
- Cut your hair ends at least every eight weeks even if you want to grow long hair;
- Regularly brush your hair, as during brushing you massage your scalp, promoting hair growth and sheen; use brushes and combs, which are made from natural materials like wood, bristles, and other materials like these;
- Think about possibilities to reduce stress, as chronic stress makes your hair unruly because stress cramps muscles and causes tension on the scalp; stress also reinforces existing problems, namely, dry hair, oily hair, or dandruff;
- Hair must be handled with care – because of chemical waving and intense dying the hair breaks and splits; it can also occur because of excessive blow-drying, as during blow-drying hair loses up to a third of their natural moisture;
- Search for grey hair – hair become grey when the melanin stops to form; if it has happened, blame stress; constant stress interferes blood flow and nutrient access to hair follicles; also diseases, malnutrition, and depression may suppress synthesis of melanin, putting both men and women prematurely grizzle.
